Scaring away hunger!!

Several years ago the StanClan children decided that they would no longer trick or treat. It wasn't really for any major reason, they just unanimously agreed that it wasn't necessary. We began to have our own family night activity for Halloween. One year we bought supplies and made ice cream sundaes while watching a movie. Another year it was just pumpkin pie and games.
This year, we decided to go trick or treating again, but with a new purpose. We would participate in our church's effort to scare away hunger. This means that at every house the kids visited, they got candy but they also asked for non-perishable food. This has been going on for years, but this was our first time to really jump in the game. We had a great time and filled a wagon full of food for the food pantry.
The youngest of our group worked so hard to pull this wagon full of food!

She was a great servant and got a full bag of candy!

This is most of our group on the porch once the wagon is full!
Thanks for having us over, Benson Family!
