Our favorites...

As we prepare for our departure from the US in just about 3 weeks, lots of people are asking what we will miss and what they can do for us. Since there is a send off party in a few weeks, the idea came up that it would be pot-luck style with a little twist. People are welcome to bring anything of their choosing, but the twist is that you can also choose to bring something from our list of favorite foods/drinks that we might miss. Of course, most of these are not things that we eat on a normal basis, but are the random things or special treats that we like but probably won't have access too. So, in order to make this available to everyone, it made the most sense to post it here on our blog. Here you go:

Eats
Mac n' cheese (both the less expensive Kraft and the more expensive Velveeta Shells & Cheese)
Sloppy Joe's
Chili dogs
Beanie weenie (ranch style beans with cut up hot dogs) (how is that spelled?)
Kangaroo (Kraft mac n' cheese with ground hamburger or ground turkey mixed in)-(Why we call it Kangaroo goes back to Floyd's childhood)
Corn dogs (particularly the State Fair brand)
Chicken n' dumplings
Ramen noodles (the chicken flavor)
Ham
Chicken Express chicken strips
Queso
Chips and salsa (Floyd's favorite is Pace Picante Medium (not thick n chunky), while Tamra is a wimp when it comes to spicy but likes most mild and chunky kinds, the kids don't have a fave)
Totino's Pizza Rolls
Bagel Bites
Lil' Smokies (especially the ones with cheese inside)
Powdered Donuts (the plain white and the cinnamon)
Strawberry pop-tarts
Fruit Roll Ups
Sour Patch Kids
Reese's Pieces
York Peppermint Patties
Starbursts
Skittles
Cheesecake (plain, without anything on it)
Cookie Sheet Cake
Carrot Cake
Banana pudding
Oreo cookies

Drinks
Dr. Pepper
Cream Soda
Apple Juice
Cold Cow's Milk :)

Again, we hope to see everyone at the party and want you to feel free to bring anything you heart desires! Or just come for the worship and prayer time!
