Missing our kiddos...

This week we got an email from Pastor Johnson in Uganda. The email just included two photos and asked if we were homesick yet. We are grateful for the time visiting here in the US, but we won't be disappointed when it's time to go home to Uganda. I look forward to seeing all the kiddos and the teachers and the cook and the matrons and everyone!

Of course, I can hope we'll get into a routine and get back to our normal things, but we'll see how that goes.

This first picture shows the kids, probably having an assembly, and the background is the second wing of the school. Based on the construction status when we left, we thought this wing might be finished by the time we return next week. It looks pretty good! We need it to open the next class when the next school year starts in late January.

This second picture is of our house and some of the boys playing soccer in the front yard. You can see that the grass is growing. Also, this large plant with flowers on it was not there when we left Uganda, so we have no idea what that is. We guess the rain has brought it. We'll see if it's a weed or a bush or what when we get back next week.
