While we were prepared to go home to Uganda back on January 8th, that didn't happen (you can read here if you missed that explanation).
He tried to steal a present!
Even though the official party was over, they had plenty of fun with the evil villain. (In case you still aren't sure, Tyler played the part of the villain.)
It so happened that the very next week my sister had planned a birthday party for my nephew (he turned 4 on January 4th). Of course, we all expected that we wouldn't be around to attend that party, but our delay made it possible. It's like a little blessing in the midst of frustration.
It was a superhero theme. After they decorated their capes, they had all sorts of activities for "superhero training".
Then, the evil villain showed up.
He tried to steal a present!
The newly trained superheros came to save the day.
They tied him up with crepe paper streamers and were very proud of their hard work.

Afterwards, we went to Taco Casa with Grandma and Grandpa. Tyler and Aidan are best buddies.
While we should be in Uganda, we're grateful for the extra opportunities to spend time with our family and won't let the opportunities go to waste. :)
