Unexpected adventure...

The last 2 months have been full of busy schedules. Many things can't be posted because of their sensitive nature and other times, I just don't have the few minutes to post.
Last week we found out that we'd have to take Tyler out of Cambodia and re-enter to get his new Visa. We had to do this before the 10th and it just so happens that one of the biggest holidays in Cambodia is happening at the same time. That made travel harder due to holiday prices and many places being full.
We found that getting to Thailand was reasonably priced. If you recall, we also have to get a medication that Troy takes in Thailand because it's illegal in Cambodia (we can bring it in with his prescription and documentation). We were able to contact his doctor and schedule his next appointment for this week.
So, we're relaxing for several days in Krabi, Thailand without any laptops or work stuff going on. This is the first time in my life I've actually used the "out of work auto-reply" and Floyd even has his phone in airplane mode. We actually walked around this beach town yesterday and then sat in the ocean enjoying the tide rolling in for quite some time.
It's been great and we have a couple more days left. On our way back to Cambodia, we have an 11 hour layover in Bangkok to go to Troy's appointment and get his prescription filled. That will save us from having to come back in the next couple months.
So, if you see the random FB or Instagram post and wonder where we're at, now you know. We're appreciating this forced adventure, glad we decided to make the opportunity a rest break instead of a quick day trip to the border, and so grateful that the Lord and our faithful financial supporters provide when these unexpected things come up. Of course, the low cost of hotels in Asia helps, too. 🤣😉

My view from in the water. Can you even find Floyd or the boys on the shore in this pic?

The boys running along the shore.

It's beautiful here. I love the natural wonder of God's creation!

And there's McDonald's here. Not healthy but a fun reminder of home. And some of you will be glad to know that portion sizes are smaller here.
Another funny note: this was nearly 3pm and the first time the boys realized they had put on matching shirts for the day. LOL!
